For my last trip of 2023, I got to go to the United Nations, to attend the Hispanic Leadership Summit.

Latino thought leaders across all sectors of commercial industry, academia, public policy, government, and entrepreneurship were assembled to discuss the US economy in the upcoming decade.

And the role Latinos will play in fueling US economic growth.

Latinos:

• Represent 19% of the population, the largest non-white ethnic/racial group in the US
• Drive $3.2 Trillion in GDP, if US Latinos were a country, they would be the third fastest growing among the top 10 GDPs globally
• US Latino GDP growth at 7% is growing faster than China’s GDP
• 16 years old is the most common age for Latinos – the most common age for non-Latino Whites is 61 y/o, African Americans 27 y/o, Asian American 29 y/o

The math IS mathing ->Latinos will fuel the US economic growth in the next decade.

Incredible opportunity at hand to grow – make sure you have REPRESENTATION on your Boards, leadership teams, product + marketing teams, and across the breadth of your organization, not just on the front line.
