Masters of Scale Summit

Intentional Action

The Masters of Scale Summit was EPIC!

Attending this summit reminded me how visionary leaders can create real change—not just by sharing ideas but by taking intentional actions. I was inspired by how Reid Hoffman and Jeff Berman used their privilege + power to create an experience focused on doing good. They brought together forward-thinking disruptors and change-makers dedicated to building a positive future. Their approach shows us what we can do in our own circles: imagine new ways of working, take responsibility, and advocate for our communities and the planet.

I left the summit feeling inspired and challenge all leaders to consider this:

How can you create spaces in your day to day that invite others to imagine, disrupt, and innovate for a better tomorrow? 🌍✨

Some key insights from the summit included:

  • 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗮 𝗦𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘆𝗺𝗮𝗻 from Microsoft shared we’re in an era of unprecedented change—technologically, socially, and economically. This is a pivotal time to ask, “How can we use our influence to shape what’s ahead?”
  • 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝘂 noted the need to invest more in our oceans, saying, “The gap between what we invest in space versus our oceans is insulting.”
  • 𝗠𝗮𝘅𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝘀 of Meta discussed how diverse teams create better solutions, emphasizing the importance of cognitive diversity.
  • 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗱 𝗞𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗹𝗮 reminded us that with care, technology can shift future generations from working to merely survive to living in abundance.

When leadership is anchored in values and intention, we foster environments where others can dream big and hold ourselves accountable for each other and the world we are building.
